this proposal of interrupting, interfering and ruining sacred lands (that isn’t ours to claim to begin with as colonizers) of the beautiful greenbelt to build housing is deeply saddening and disappointing to hear.
please shut this down immediately. this benefits no one but the contractors themselves.
focus on building and fixing housing issues in our communities and cities first - we don’t need to take this to the greenbelt, where only the rich and privileged can afford to live.
protect the land, and get greedy hands out of the greenbelt. no one asked for this.
