This is a huge betrayal of those who elected this government based on promises made by Premeir Ford and Steve Clark.
There is ample land within the city boundaries to build AFFORDABLE housing to benefit those of more limited means than those who are going to benefit from this reward being dished out to wealthy developers at the expense of the environment.
Those in need of affordable housing will neither be able to purchase these homes, or the cars and gas needed in these neighbourhoods.
For all the good done by this government, this will be a destructive and lasting testament to corruption, the political equivalent to insider trading.
Shameful, pork barrel politics from a government that won a mandate exposing this type of corruption from a previous government.
So much for Bill Davis conservatism.
