When the climate crisis is at its worst now is not a time to be destroying what we do have left for the profit of a few. There is tons of housing and areas that are not currently used as they have become rundown. Maybe look into repurposing vacant lots/ rundown buildings that are not currently being used efficiently. The issue isn’t the number of houses we have it’s the cost of the houses that are currently available that no one can afford. Cracking down on the housing market and realtors boycotting properties and listing that have low commission rates. If you choose to go forward with this you are saying that it’s okay for a children not to have a future as this planet will not survive.
