The greenbelt holds vital ecosystems and feeds into Lake Simcoe Canada's largest recreational lake. Doug Ford proposing to eliminate conservation authorities and build a highway and allow for development along the green belt shows his lack of skills to lead this province. He stated back in 2018 he wouldn’t touch the greenbelt and now in 2022 he is going back on that promise. Doug Ford lacks every leadership quality needed in a MP and is instead open to whoever is the highest bidder. Allowing this destruction of vital ecosystems will only push us back as a province more.
