We should NOT be taking space away from the greenbelt. This is protected land and opening it up for development means that the government will just find ways to take more and more land year are after year. The only people this plan benefits are the contractors and land owners lining up to make a quick buck from this deal. Ford had had 4 years to try and make affordable housing happen, why should we believe in him now? Why should we believe it’s the environmental red tape and not his own incompetence that is slowing everything down? I strongly disagree with this plan. This is an incredibly poor decision, but I’d expect nothing less from this vile and undignified Ford government at this point. Shame on this government.
