Opening protected land for more development is not the answer. There are better options for quickly creating affordable housing for people who need it, such as converting wasted office spaces currently available. Opening up this land will end up with housing and development that doesn’t benefit the majority of Canadians. This land needs to remain protected for everyone’s best interest, not just the interest of a few for profits.
