I do not support the government's proposal to repeal Cap & Trade. I think it is beyond reprehensible that this Government is even considering it. I worry about the future of my children when we have a government that isn't willing to take concrete steps to reduce our environmental impact.

These actions tell me this government does not have the courage or the foresight to do the right thing for our province and the people (kids) that will be living here long after we're all gone.

By repealing Cap & Trade we lose financial means to invest in forward-looking industries, enable real people to help deal with the effects of our weather (such as upgrading insulation and other efficiency measures at home), hamper small businesses by no longer investing in things like home upgrades, and generally are setting ourselves up to be laggards instead of leaders. It's embarrassing.
