I am vehemently against this proposal to destroy our protected green belt for new housing development. While housing is an issue in Ontario, the current rate of home affordability means these new developments are likely going to be completely inaccessible for a vast majority of Ontarians or any local to the areas that are being developed. STOP CATERING TO ONLY WEALTHY. YOU ARE DESTROYING THE MIDDLE CLASS AND CREATING AN EVEN FURTHER GAP BETWEEN THE WEALTHY AND LOW INCOME POPULATIONS. MIDDLE CLASS DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE. Protected lands are protected for a reason!
