We do not need mansions on the green belt. The answer to the housing crisis is not to create more developments, the solution is to improve rental security and repurpose and change existing infrastructure. Looking at adding legislation that turns people off of being a land lord of single family homes. There’s absolutely no reason we need to use the greenbelt. Time to add more times of housing into area that already exist, make walkable cities. The problem is that the developments slated for these areas will be low density, suburbs without transit. Not ideal for the immigrant population they are “building” them for.
