Proposing development along the Greenbelt shows that this Conservative government is not committed to the wellbeing of the people living in this province. The Greenbelt provides a much needed space for agriculture and low-density living. Developing this land to become the GTA 2.0 would severely diminish the local economies in the area by providing money into the pockets of all Doug Ford’s associates along Highway 413. This province is unable to maintain it’s healthcare system and education system due to lack of funding provided—of course, this funding is sitting in a contingency fund waiting to be used for something that tax payers will never have transparency on.

It is sickening to watch the majority of this province’s people failing to make ends meet and yet the Conservative government has decided that it doesn’t matter what the majority want. It has been and will be all about the minority of wealthy people running this province right now.
