The words in the ERO…

The words in the ERO question are particularly pernicious, stating that the Rondeau Park Management plan needs updating. Right now the Management Plan is out of sync with the regulation passed at the provincial level that cottages are authorized through 2038. This is not a question for public opinion. The Rondeau Park Management plan should already reflect that if the staff of Ontario Parks we’re doing their jobs properly. No Public input is required to update the Park Management Plan to align with the decisions of the elected government. This is a clear case of bureaucracy overreach of authority and willful disregard of the law of the land.
This ERO should be cancelled and the results disposed of.
Ontario Parks staff should do their job and update the Park Management Plan to match the 2038 authorization!
