Cannot see why anyone with any common sense will push for this kind of proposal. Why on earth more people and higher population density is a good thing is beyond me? It has been established that most of the environmental crises we faced today has to do with human, or too many of them. We do not need to reduce the green belt. We actually need to expand the green belt and provide better environmental protection for the sake of future generations. We need to strengthen environmental and conservation laws instead of allowing more exemptions from the rules.

There is no justifications of getting more houses to be build in the gta as gta does not equal to ontario. There are a lot of other cities and towns the government can provide incentives for businesses to start up there to support people settling in these cities and towns.

If the provincial government's goal is to make the fat cats in the development industry richer, then say it out loud and I can understand that.
