Seriously?
With all the areas going unused in the GTA, the defunct businesses and vacant lots, etc. we have to award another developer friend of the government with the right to destroy the greenbelt?
The promise on election was that the Ford Government would not develop the Greenbelt. Now obviously that was a lie. It was a lie then, but at least he was too busy taking shears to education and health care to get his claws on the greenbelt. Why does everything a Ford Government touch have to whither and die?
How about we develop all the land around the Ford family cottage first to see how they like a quiet refuge and environmental area being destroyed and then revisit the Greenbelt proposal?
