I absolutely object to this proposal. The greenbelt should remain a conservation area protected from land development. Animals, birds, insects, plants, mosses all depend on these areas. We also need green spaces. You would be impacting negatively the ecosystem. And that stretch of land is well known for being more at risk of flooding already so why on earth would you put houses there even if it wasnt a protected land? Here's an idea...repurpose government buildings that are empty.
