The Greenbelt is there and is protected for a reason! We need wetlands and biodiversity, and farmlands - among the many ecosystem services this helps protect our drinking water and prevent flooding. The answer to the housing crisis is to build density in residential neighbourhoods, not building more single family housing in the suburbs.
Premier Ford and the PCs needs to KEEP his promise to protect the Greenbelt - electors are not stupid enough to think the housing situation has changed so drastically in the last 6 months since the promise was made. PROTECT THE GREENBELT AS IT IS!
