Please, absolutely do not do this. The Greenbelt is a protected area for a reason. Forgetting about it’s natural beauty, it has a huge impact on ecosystem balance and maintenance. Destroying or “repurposing” the land is now the answer to this housing crisis. Ontario has so much more to offer than just the Golden Horseshoe area - incentives should be given for people to move and settle elsewhere.
