There are 10's of thousands of abandoned & delapitated buildings/ houses in Ontario. Tearing up protected lands that are necessary for farming, wild life, and overall environmental health is just exchanging one problem for another. These already-standing abandoned structures should be torn down & rebuilt to further benefit Ontario communities. Building houses on Greenbelt land will drive up the cost of living, which most cannot afford already, and only benefit rich contractors looking to get richer. These homes will certainly be close to a million dollars a piece, when we have more people & families than ever living out of poverty. This proposal is GARABGE and does NOT benefit regular working Ontarians!!
