It’s disappointing the Doug Ford is back tracking on his previous comments stating he would leave the green belt alone. I highly disagree that the green belt should be open to development. Repurposing existing, unused office buildings and providing incentives to target housing in areas where it is needed the most would be better. These lands are crucial for our wildlife and should remain protected.
