The Greenbelt “safeguards the vital resources that clean our air and water, reduces our flood risks, provides a home for wildlife, and ensures our communities have greenspace to explore”. Building on the green belt would be disastrous for all. Amidst climate change we should be doing ALL we can to preserve our land NOT clear it for housing. Other opinions are available and there is land available to build housing and greedy developers have options to purchase this land. The connection between this government and its donors (developers) who are pressuring the government to allow this is unforgivable and needs to be stopped.
