While housing is currently a crises, so too is AFFORDABLE HOUSING and homelessness. Take a drive into downtown Peterborough, as you'll see clear visual evidence of this issue.
Reducing financial burden on the development sector is unnecessary in this moment. Setting a maximum on the number of units assumes that all communities already have a sufficient supply. What good is housing when no one (that needs it) can afford it?
