While I do support the addition of lands in the Paris-Galt area to the Greenspace, I do not support the modification of legislation to allow building on existing Greenspace areas. As a resident of Hamilton for the past fifteen years, there are a lot of underdeveloped or undeveloped areas in my neighbourhood that have been sitting for the entire duration of my time here that could be addressed instead.

The Greenspace is a critical part of what makes this area desirable to live in, and poses important environmental and food safety considerations.

I also do not support the removal of Hamilton’s restrictions for building height.
