This proposal should not go forward. It is environmentally irresponsible, dangerous, and unnecessary. We need to be focusing on stopping luxury condo building in big cities and instead using those spaces to build densely populated affordable housing that is close to public transport, schools, hospitals, and other public services. We also need to re-purposing empty office building for community housing that is practical and affordable for low and middle income people. The last thing we need is unaffordable impractical housing built to serve the rich on land that needs to be conserved.
