DO NOT BIULD WASTEFUL SINGLE FAMILY HOMES ON GREENBELT LAND. Building sprawling suburbs is destroying this Province entirely. This is such a terrible use of land that ends up being both hideous and financially insolvent for the government. Single family homes in southern Ontario are also completely unaffordable and these new builds will be no different. If you need to build more homes why not build multi use spaces that have multi dwelling small rise buildings with walkable retail built into the zoning? You could repurpose the absolutely disgusting concrete wastelands that are everywhere in this province and build this type of infrastructure without using ANY greenbelt land at all.
Why are you building more single family housing on green space when you have acres of parking lots in super centers that have never even seen a car?
It makes absolutely no sense.
