Absolutely not! As a province, Ontario is supposed to move forward with sustainable solutions to major environmental issues and taking away parts of the Greenbelt, an area of green space that is supposed to be permanently protected, is moving back from this goal. The need for this stretch of green space is so incredible, taking it away could be detrimental on so many levels. I don’t understand why there can’t be another housing solution! What about the unused office spaces and buildings in Toronto? There are so many buildings areas that are wasting away that would be a perfect solution. When making this decision, consider what the people of this province want to see and experience, especially consider the future of the children of Ontario.
