As someone who spent the better part of 2020-2021 advocating for more affordable housing I can tell you this is not the solution that I was looking for.
Building more affordable housing is not simply about building more homes it is about creating more protections for renters. Implimenting rent geared to income rates on existing housing stock and regulating the market.
This project is nothing more than a way for Ford to line the pockets of his biggest contributors and justify his 413 highway project. Giving everyone a place to live should not come at the expence of futher damaging our environment by reducing the greenBelt
