The Greenbelt is protected land and some of Ontario's most beautiful sights. Development on this land would endanger wildlife, and not serve to benefit anyone aside from a few developers and the very wealthy. This money could instead be invested into the healthcare system, increasing healthcare workers' wages so (hopefully) hospitals are able to better staff and not burn out the workers presently there.
