I’m asking that no amendments are made to the greenbelt plan and that we look elsewhere. For instance, there are many buildings in downtown Toronto that can be repurposed for housing. Nature supports us, sustains us, and nurtures us. Our city folks need the ability to escape to the greenbelt for a recharge and these pieces of land are home to many types of wildlife, birds, fauna and flora that will be disturbed in amendment plan. We only have one planet, if we keep chipping away at natural habitats, we won’t leave anything to the next generation. My pleasure is that you please look elsewhere and not touch the greenbelt.
