Please do not move into greenbelt areas for housing projects. This is dangerous, and a major concern for our wetland ecosystems. Destroying valuable agricultural spaces for homes will significantly impact food security, and contribute to already rising food costs.
There are many other avenues that can be considered, including taking existing spaces in downtown city cores and repurposing them for affordable housing units. Revise by-laws to build up and not out.
Please approach this with the utmost care. You are supposed to be the government of the people, and the people do not want this.
