I am deeply concerned about…

I am deeply concerned about plans to rezone the green belt. While I appreciate the need for additional housing given the current shortage, the negative impact of building in the green belt is indisputable. I find this government's priorities suspect and I believe that breaking the prior commitment to not build in the green belt is due to the PCs choosing the line the pockets of builders as opposed to ensuring green spaces and combating climate change for future generations. This is especially offensive given the PCs assertions that they are putting children first in spite of evidence to the contrary, including their destructive policies in other areas including education and healthcare. I, nor does my family, support building in the green belt and as a result, I will in no way support a PC government now or in the future.
