This proposal is short-sighted, costly, in opposition to what was committed to during the election, and unnecessary. This will not result in more, affordable housing, whereas there are plenty of well-researched approaches that build within the land already available and would create affordable homes. It would also respect the desires of the people in the communities and their elected officials. Everything about this does not make sense and is highly suspicious!
