It is now well understood that climate change is a reality and that the health of our planet dictates that we must wean ourselves off fossil fuels as quickly as possible. The development of renewable power sources holds the key a future of health and prosperity. Not only will our children and grandchildren inherit a cleaner world, but reducing emissions in Ontario will provide good jobs and a stimulus to the economy. It’s a win-win.

Ontario must put a price on pollution and make polluters pay for their emissions. The revenues generated can be returned to the pockets of Ontarians so that we may lower our carbon footprint. We must live up to our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement. We have already phased out coal. Let us move toward 100% clean energy by 2050.
