Bill 23 is a terrible idea full stop. The Greenbelt should never be subtracted from, if anything it should be added to.
To suggest you can take from one area and add to another is sheer lunacy.
The Greenbelt needs to be continuous not fragmented.
The Greenbelt holds the headwater of many streams and rivers that feed Lake Ontario. It is the cooling zone, it is the filtration zone. It is the area where many fish have a chance of survival.
The Greenbelt is an area of biodiversity that is naturally created. It is not like you can recreate that elsewhere, it doesn't work like that.
There must be another way to this terrible idea.
