I have read the CBC article (link incl below) and would like to know the following:

1. How ANY of these developers were allowed to purchase Greenbelt protected land (2005) ?
2. There must be a clause in the land protection plan, where they agreed to revisit the plan and make available to develop? So developers roll the dice on what and when?! I don’t think so. This information needs to shared with public if Premier Ford expects his word to mean something to constituents.
3. Supposedly the amount of land removed / developed is to be added back to the Greenbelt. When and where? This should be agreed before sold to developers - IF the intention to release the protected land to developers was viable to meet the potential protected land clause to review periodically for legit reasons.
4. And why was a foreign buyer (China) allowed to buy protected Greenbelt land in Ajax in 2018?!
5. And why is the Federal gov allowing immigration to continue at rates that cannot keep pace with available and AFFORDABLE housing?!
