The Doug Ford government is holding us hostage. We do not need to choose between protecting the environment and affordable housing. It is absolutely disgusting that the Ford government wants to tear up the GreenBelt for his rich friends and their mansions in the midst of a housing crisis and a climate crisis. I’m sick and tired of it. You are taking everything from us. Our shelter. Our healthcare. Our education. And now you want to take the land we depend on? The air we breathe? The forests and water that provide for millions of animals? It’s exhausting. It’s disgusting. Leave the GreenBelt alone. It is despicable to frame this as necessary for housing when there’s thousands of other known solutions for the housing crisis that you refuse to implement.
