There is no reason to scrap the climate plan.
There is no reason to not have a climate plan.
Your children, not even your grandchildren, but your children will look back at your decisions and judge them harshly if you decide to go against the vast surplus of data that should be governing your choices in this matter.
The sustainable energy economy is worth billions of dollars. That's your economic reason. There are many examples of places that have thrived economically while embracing renewables.
We signed a UN agreement for a reason. Let's stick to it. Put a price on pollution. A real price. Give that money back to Ontarians. I don't need a tax break; I need polluters to pay and I want that money.
I want Ontario to end any and all fossil fuel subsidies. They won't even feel the loss.
I want us 100% renewable energy before 2040. That's more than 20 years. If you can't make that happen, you're not much in the way of doers, are you?
Come on, show me what you got. And if it's the status quo, it ain't much.
