I can't believe that this government is being so shortsighted about the future of our children and grandchildren. I want to see visionary thinking that will lead the world in the battle against climate change. My husband volunteers with the Red Cross and when he first started there were rarely domestic deployments now the calls for help for floods, fires ,tornadoes could keep him fully occupied year round. These are exactly the kinds of events scientists predicted 20 years ago and still we bury our heads in the sand and instead of taking advantage of the opportunities of a green economy like California has done our current premier clings to regressive policies that will inevitably fall victim to the progress forged by others.
