I am strongly opposed to…

I am strongly opposed to opening any part of the greenbelt for development. We have ample space outside of the greenbelt for development and densification in our beautiful province. There is no need to break apart the natural gem that is the greenbelt. I worry that this decision sets a dangerous precedent, particularly when we should be moving in the opposite direction and protecting whatever natural green space that we can. I urge the government to reconsider this decision and instead incentivize development in locations that will support more sustainable living, for example increased density in transit accessible locations.
