I am writing to you today to urge a reconsideration of Bill 23.
Ontario must continue to protect our greenspaces; we cannot undo the environmental damage that opening up currently protected areas to development will cause.
Additionally, the existing urban spaces in cities and towns around the greenspaces requires re-development and investment.
Existing urban spaces should be fully developed and utilized before any more greenspace is exploited.
The benefits of denser and more varied urban usage are too numerous to list here, and any future development must fully account for this.
