Lying, broken promises and shading dealings. The removal of land from the Greenbelt to build 50,000 mansions (only 3% of the 1.5 Million "affordable housing" pledge") is nothing short of Corruption.
The Ontario Housing Affordability Task Force specifically said there was already plenty of land both inside the existing built up areas and on undeveloped land outside the greenbelt.
Opening up the greenbelt (and this is just the start) has always been part of Doug Ford's plan.
Unfortunately, in the future when we are faced with floods and food security Doug Ford and his developer friends will be long gone. As a voter in a Conservative Riding - who has voted Conservative in the past - I do not support corrupt dealings of Politicians under any circumstances. Thank you for selling out farmers and the citizens of this province with this terrible, corrupt decision!
