Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback. Although I am fairly cynical in my belief that it will translate into anything meaningful.
Please do not give away land to the short-term interests of developers. People don't dream of white picket fences. They dream of healthy living for themselves and future generations. They dream of having enough food to eat and a safe place to live. But a safe place to live does not mean some dated version of the failed American Dream (a hideous white picket fence). They dream of community. Please stop encouraging "car-dependent hellscapes" and protect the greenbelt while encouraging municipalities to be more creative with the land they have. Empty lots, vacant buildings, poorly managed areas could be repurposed to fill the housing need. Only add to the Greenbelt, please do not take anything away.
Thank you.
