There are over 80,000 acres of land already marked for future development and added to urban and suburban boundaries- we don't need to build homes and warehouses on the greenbelt.
It was meant to permanent, keep it permanent ! Premier Ford promised he would not touch the Greenbelt, we can build homes wiser and more substainable. We need these lands within the Geenbelt protected for out wetlands ( filter water! Prevent flooding), farmland ( grow food), trees ( cool our planet. Not to mention the animals, fish, trails etc in our wooded green spaces. What is the most protected parcel of land in Ontario? The Duffins Rouge Argricultural Preserve- leave it protected for the of our children and the planet.
