These plans are short-sighted, and problematic, completely erasing the necessary reasons for which these lands were preserved in their current state initially. This bill will allow for short-term gain, and potentially some short-term solutions to housing, while launching us further into the climate crisis and reducing possible solutions for food security closer to home.
