There has never been a more important time in history to protect green spaces for the health and well-being of all individuals on this planet. Take land out of the greenbelt is incredibly short sighted and immensely damaging and is a drastic overreach of government. This isn't about housing this is about development and all the experts demonstrate that this will not fix the housing crisis, and the house crisis is not only about units. This is about supporting developers, and that CANNOT be the focus of our society. Those choices and privileging capital over communities and the wellbeing of the folks that governments are MEANT to serve is how we have reached this dire situation (on multiple levels) to begin with.

This is not acceptable. And should not be allowed to proceed.
