Absolutely preposterous. A detriment to Ontarians and Canadians!

Anti-democratic, and anti-environment even as we face a worsening climate change crisis.

How can our government in good conscious go out of their way to ensure that our democracy is undermined all to benefit developers' pockets?

The proposed 'amendments' to the Greenbelt violate a green space that has already been protected for a reason. That reason wasn't intended to build houses that are outside of the buying power of the average Ontarian family. How does destroying environmentally significant wetlands, and farmlands to put up mansions by developers deeply involved in anti-democratic practices with some members of our government support a sustainable future for all Ontarians?

What is proposed here is a destruction of farmlands and environment for a short-term benefit, while simultaneously stripping our Conservation Authorities and municipalities of their right to be heard and to voice their local considerations on further plans.

An absolute outrage. NOTHING about these 'proposed amendments' serves anyone beyond the developers and those politicians who are only looking out for themselves and the developers they are supporting. Unethical!

We implore you to consider those who live and call Ontario their home.

This government is DESTROYING our province for GREED. And this goverment left the only way to call out these DESTRUCTIVE 'proposals' via an online form because of the absolute blatant attempts to HIDE and LIE about these changes. What kind of democracy does our current government pretend to uphold? Especially if these are the back-alley tactics that are used to propose any kind of change, especially change that violates a swath of land that has been promised to be maintained and protected for the benefit of all Ontarians - today and tomorrow.

Absolutely disagree with all parts of this 'proposal'. For shame.
