I strongly oppose the proposed changes. The government's wishes to change planning decisions will provide a direct negative benefit to others downstream of the lands. Full impact assessments of buildouts should be looked at prior to proposal for implementation. The removal of permeable land upstream will create flood risks for others downstream. The recent press for MZO further builds on this.
If there is any credibility behind the government and the agencies, the proposed changes will not pass.
