I absolutely oppose this.
There is sufficient developable land to address the supply crisis, without the Greenbelt. Considerable efforts have been made by multiple governments to protect these lands. Please listen to the residents of Pickering. We are all well aware of the donations the developers provide, but this is much greater than any donation, please do what’s right.
Pickering’s own housing experts agree and have implored you to protect these lands. If you won’t listen to them or to it’s own residents, how sadly that reflects on the environment and city we live in. Please put an end to this and protect the Greenbelt.
