Hi, there are many reasons why developing on the greenbelt is a bad idea.

1. We have paved over some of the most fertile farm land in this province and country to never be returned to its original state. We should learn from this mistake, not continue to repeat it.

2. This is habitat for many species that we share this land with and we should be good stewards of it.

4. The exposed links between big developers recent purchase of the parcels up for consideration create the impression of deceit and collusion at a high level.

5. The land in the white belt should be developed first.

6. Urban intensification is better than sprawl into the protected greenbelt.
