I am concerned about the changes Bill 4 will bring to our environmental protection laws. Please keep long range impact in the forefront of passing new legislation:
•A real climate change plan to reduce emissions, to help people save money by saving energy and to create jobs in the $26 trillion clean economy.
•Adoption of a price on carbon pollution through a fee-and-dividend plan, which would charge polluters and return the money to the pockets of Ontarians.
•Legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement.
•The redirection of fossil fuel subsidies into clean energy solutions.
