Hello
I am against this proposal to redesignate greenbelt land to provide for housing,
Natural areas are both our heritage and our gift to future generations. Once gone, they can never be reclaimed. Nature must be preserved above all. It is our responsibility to preserve this habitat for many endangered species, and for our children and grandchildren.
Furthermore, this type of low density housing (sprawl) is not beneficial to anyone except to the developers.
Low density sprawl wil not support transit solutions, and just encourages dependence more polluting automobiles.
Forests are the lungs of our planet, and this proposal effectively replaces forests with pollution.
At the very least, a full environmental assessment should be completed prior to any redesignation of greenbelt, forests, farms and wetlands.
Thank you for your consideration of my comments.
