Using the greenbelt for…

Using the greenbelt for anything other than its intended purposes will lead to another crisis further down the road that we won't be able to fix. Destruction of natural wetlands, forests, and habitats can not be rebuilt at will. Breaking natural corridors will have far greater impact on biodiversity and down the road our populations than building on the lands will solve. To think that those who put the greenbelt in place and entrusted us with protecting its future did so for later building & destruction is ludicrous.
No one who voted this government in wanted this to happen as we were told it would never happen. The trust this betrays is not only to those before us but to us as well. I am sickened by the vision we have of our province.
